Danish Victoria Kjaer Crowned Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico

Victoria Kjaer of Denmark won the Miss Universe 2024 title in Mexico City, outshining nearly 130 contestants. She impressed judges with her charm, intelligence, and communication skills, earning the “Light of Infinity” crown.

The 18-carat gold crown, adorned with diamonds and golden pearls, was placed on Kjaer’s head by outgoing titleholder Sheynnis Palacios of Nicaragua. The ceremony marked the 73rd edition of the pageant.

The final five contestants included María Fernanda Beltrán from Mexico, Ileana Márquez from Venezuela, Opal Suchata from Thailand, and Adetshina Chidimma from Nigeria. Performances by Robin Thicke and others added to the event’s excitement.

Judges, including Lele Pons and Michael Cinco, evaluated the contestants on their stage presence and charisma. Kjaer stood out, securing both the crown and a major prize.

Kjaer’s rewards include a $250,000 cash prize and a $50,000 monthly salary. As Miss Universe, she will champion global causes and promote diversity and inclusion worldwide.
