A Belfast cafe turned private hire space is set to open its door for food and drinks once again.
Panama Cafe on McClintock Street in the heart of the city centre was first opened in 2018 as a city garden and cafe space.
In 2021, the business stopped operating the food and drinks offering and transitioned solely into a private hire function space.
However, it is set to open its doors to customers once again later this month after Panama acquired a new management team.
A post on social media confirmed its reopening date as September 18.
It read: “We are thrilled to announce that Panama Cafe is under new management and back in business!
“We have revamped our menu to bring you some delicious South American-inspired brunch dishes; with great coffee, wine and cocktails and of course we are still dog-friendly.
“The new era of Panama City Garden & Café is here and your new/old favourite brunch spot awaits you.”
It appears that the team behind the popular The Lamppost Cafe in East Belfast will be taking over the management of Panama as they also shared the announcement on their cafe’s social media accounts.
