The mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, said that the sounds of explosions that were heard in the Ukrainian capital are the work of air defense. On the night of July 19, “all enemy drones” were detected and destroyed, said Sergei Popko, head of the city’s military administration.
“Preliminarily, without casualties and destruction, but the data is still being specified,” he added.
“Strana.ua” and “RBC-Ukraine” reported explosions in the Odessa region. The Telegram channel Novosti Odessa reports that several buildings and cars were damaged as a result of the attack on the city. Strana.ua publishes photos and videos with broken windows in buildings. The authorities of the region did not report the consequences of the attack.
In the Zhytomyr region, a drone damaged an infrastructure facility and several private houses, said Vitaliy Bunechko, head of the local administration. The administration of the Dnepropetrovsk region reported on the downed drone.
In Kherson, as a result of a drone attack, a fire broke out in a house of culture, and a two-story residential building was also damaged, UNIAN reports with reference to the head of the regional military administration Alexander Prokudin.

The authorities of the Nikolaev region announced a night attack on a settlement in the Koblevo community, which resulted in “destruction and ignition of recreational infrastructure facilities in the coastal zone.” “Strana.ua” reports that we are talking about the shelling of the city of Koblevo, Mykolaiv region, where, according to local publics, a hotel complex was hit. The regional administration announced two victims of the attack.
The Air Force of Ukraine reported that critical infrastructure and military installations were attacked, the main direction of attack was the Odessa region. The report says that the Ukrainian military shot down 13 of the 16 Kalibr cruise missiles launched, as well as 23 drones (out of 32).
The Russian Defense Ministry has not yet commented on the reports of the Ukrainian side about the shelling. At the same time, the Rybar telegram channel of Mikhail Zvinchuk, ex-officer of the press service of the military department, reports that Russian troops have been delivering massive strikes with kamikaze drones and Kalibr cruise missiles on targets in the Odessa region for the second night in a row.
The Russian pro-military telegram channel “Operation Z: Russian Spring Military Commanders” reported that “the Russian Navy is delivering a powerful blow to Ukraine, strategic aviation has risen into the sky.” According to the channel, an oil depot in Odessa was hit by a missile attack.
