Ukraine Disconnected Power Line Supplying Zaporizhia NPP With Electricity

Ukraine cut off the Dnieper transmission line, which supplied electricity to the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. This was stated by adviser to the head of Rosenergoatom Renat Karchaa.

“Today at 01:07 Moscow time <…> they take and turn off the 750th Dnieper line,” Karchaa said. His speech was broadcast on the Russia-24 TV channel.

Zaporozhye NPP came under Russian control on March 2, 2022. Since then, the ZNPP has been subjected to constant shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Recently, the Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, warned of impending provocations at the nuclear power plant by Kiev, writes the National News Service . The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said that Ukraine could be preparing for another terrorist attack , blaming Russia for this.
