Belmopan, Apr 3 (Prensa Latina) The Cuban medical brigade in Belize held regional scientific conferences in honor to the 60th anniversary of Cuba´s international health collaboration, a diplomatic source informed Monday.
The conferences are the perfect settings for particiapnst to debate on major public health issues in patients assisted by the Cuban doctors and contribute to enhancing their technical scientific level.
Aside from Cuban specialists, Belizean doctors and nurses also attended the conferences presided over by the Cuban ambassador María Caridad Balague, Dr. Perlita Aldana, president of the Belize Medical and Dental Association (BMDA) and Belizean public health authorities from the Northern Regional Hospital.
